When we first started the Draper wellness program back in 2008, we knew we were onto something good. But we didn’t know just how good until the awards started rolling in. Then we knew we had one of the best in the country.

And now we’ve gotten news of another accolade.

Draper is one of 62 companies named the Nation’s Best and Brightest in Wellness by the National Association of Business Resources.

The NABR worked with leading wellness systems firm SynBella to compile the list. Companies were judged in several areas, including program outcomes, analysis and tracking, participation and incentives, benefits and programs, leadership, employee input, culture, and environment.

“Having a healthy and happy workforce leads to a healthy company bottom line,” according to NABR president Jennifer Kluge. “This year’s winning companies represent high standards and an exceptional commitment to healthy employees, healthy families, and a healthy community,”

Draper is one of four Indiana companies to make the list, and the only Hoosier manufacturer to do so.

“It’s great to see how highly regarded our Wellness Program is, and to continue receiving awards even after it’s been in place a while,” says Linda Brinson, Draper’s Wellness Director. “The secret of our success is the commitment of Draper management to their employees’ health and well-being, as well as the participation by employees.”

Draper’s wellness program has been covered several times in the national media, including Forbes, Fortune, Kiplinger’s, Mashable, and SnackNation. In 2014 Draper was recognized by Healthiest Employers LLC as the Healthiest Workplace in America. Other recognitions of note include 2013 Healthiest Workplace in Indiana, and a Five Star award from the Wellness Council of Indiana. Our wellness program has even been mentioned in the Congressional Record!
