It’s that time of year when all the craziness of college basketball tournaments is set to tip off! Again this year, Draper is proud to participate with many teams participating in the various tournaments as they start play this week. Draper doesn’t suit up for the games and we don’t make shots or pull down rebounds, but we have helped several teams make the 2013 college post-season. We don’t have an on-court position, but instead, an above- court position as top programs from coast to coast prepare for tip off of the 2013 college post-season. Draper’s role this season, as always, has been in helping programs prepare for and play games by providing top quality basketball backstops in arenas and practice facilities.
Draper has provided basketball backstops and wall pads for number one seed Indiana’s Cook Hall practice facility and number two seed, Duke, who plays their home games on EZ-Fold backstops installed at Cameron Indoor Stadium. Tenth seeded Colorado also plays their home games on EZ-Fold ceiling suspended backstops. Number 5 seed UNLV, number 6 seed Arizona, number 9 seed Villanova, number 10 seed Oklahoma, number 12 seed Oregon and number 15 seed Florida Gulf Coast all have facilities that feature Draper basketball backstops as well as other products including wall pads and divider curtains. Almost 15% of the Division 1 programs in this year’s NCAA tournament are on the Draper team.
From the National Invitational Tournament, Kentucky has Draper basketball backstops and wall pads in their Joe Craft practice center and we are happy to be currently working on the new practice facility for Arizona State. The College Basketball Invitational features Purdue University, who use Draper backstops and wall pads in their practice facility. The Collegeinsider.com Post Season Tournament includes North Dakota, University of Texas Arlington and Air Force, all of whom play or practice on EZ-Fold Backstops.
In women’s basketball, Draper is part of the programs at Duke, Purdue, Colorado, Delaware, Kentucky, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Villanova who have been chosen to take part in the NCAA tournament. The Women’s NIT includes Florida Gulf Coast University, a team who practices on EZ-Fold basketball backstops in their Alico Arena.
Draper backstops will not be used at the tournament sites, so it will not be our nets being cut down, but with top programs practicing and playing games on our backstops, there is a good chance a member of the Draper team will be cutting down the nets.

MY District has a few of your large electric screens, one of are screens has a tear where the bottom bar meets the screen approx 10 inches.
Do you have repair kits ? A saddle or something that gathers the bottom rod and gives support to your
screen. Prefering something to match your screen color and is kind to the eyes.
I would like to stay away from 200 m/p/h tape…………
Thanks for the question! This kind of problem doesn’t happen very often. I have passed your question and email address to our technical service department. I am sure they will be able to help.
