Sue Ellspermann, Lieutenant Governor of the State of Indiana, visited Draper yesterday. She is conducting “listen and learn” meetings with business and agriculture leaders in all of Indiana’s 92 counties. Henry County was her 24th stop, and Draper offered to host the meeting in our Newkirk Training Center.
The meeting was conducted as a SWOT exercise (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats). The purpose of the tour is to learn how Indiana’s state government can better partner with its business and agriculture leaders to effect positive changes in our state.
It was an honor to host Lt. Gov. Ellspermann and we look forward to seeing her final report in November.
