Draper has once again been named one of Indiana’s best places to work in a statewide competition sponsored by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce. Mike Broome, Vice President Manufacturing, accepted the award at the chamber’s annual Best Places to Work in Indiana Banquet May 1 at the Indianapolis Convention Center.
The Best Places to Work project is a statewide program managed by the Best Companies Group, and is dedicated to identifying and recognizing Indiana’s best employers. Winners are determined through an employer questionnaire and a comprehensive employee engagement and satisfaction survey. All participating companies receive a Best Companies Group Employee Feedback Report identifying each company’s strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement. Best Companies Group oversees similar programs in 27 states.
Draper was one of only six manufacturers included among this year’s winners. We entered this competition once before, in 2011, and were recognized as one of Indiana’s best workplaces that year as well.
