I have just returned from one of the best trade shows that I have attended for some time. The last week of August, Bob Mathes and I joined the fine folks at Wilson and Gilkes in Sydney for InfoComm’s Integrate Australia. The level of interest in Draper products and our new partnership with Wilson and Gilkes was simply amazing. Most customers we talked with have a lot of active projects in the pipeline for projection and, and are anxious to use Draper products.
We had a good TecVision demo (MS1000X ambient light rejecting material), motorized screens, portable screens, and lifts all on the stand, along with a wide array of AV racks, Data racks, enclosures for flat panels, and lecterns that Wilson and Gilkes manufacture. We also partnered with Panasonic as they used one of our Onyx screens with the new TecVision material. The XT1000X viewing surface, developed for blending purposes offers maximum uniformity and minimizes hot spotting; it was used with one of Panasonic’s new laser based projectors and it looked extremely good.
The show moves to Melbourne next year, and we’re already looking forward to another great show!
