Draper is pleased to introduce our new Lightbloc Zip product.
The Lightbloc Zip combines our standard Motorized Lightbloc FlexShade with the FlexShade Zip that we introduced last year. The LightBloc Zip is for interior applications, and it incorporates a room darkening fabric with headbox, and side and sill channels to provide a complete blackout system.
One unique thing about the Lightbloc Zip is that the side channels are only 1¾” wide (1” less than our standard Lightbloc product). The channels incorporate a “Zip” detail which is welded to the vertical sides of the fabric, and this feature prevents the fabric from coming out of the side channels.
With the Lightbloc, we were only able to offer a fabric retention system with our SB900 fabric. The Lightbloc Zip uses the same fabric retention system on all available room darkening fabrics. Because of its unique design the Lightbloc Zip is available in larger sizes than our Lightbloc – up to 12’ x 12’. It is also available in three headbox styles with two sizes per style.
