This week’s Why Draper subject is Eric Guffey. Eric is Draper’s Regional Sales Manager for eastern Canada. Eric is an example of a pretty common occurrence here at Draper: his wife works here, as well!

How did you come to be working at Draper?
I guess like many others I had heard of Draper for many years and heard it was a great company. And it just so happened that my wife worked here already. I also had two neighbors at the time that were in Regional sales for Draper. I was looking for a career change and Draper became a perfect fit.

What do you like best about your job?
It is always something different for me at Draper. Whether in the office or on the road I always have different challenges to take on.

Funniest moments here?
InfoComm in 2005. It was Mid-Atlantic Regional Sales Manager Stuart Milligan’s first InfoComm. That should pretty much sum it up. If you haven’t heard the story any Regional Mgr that was present would be happy to tell you.

What do you like to do in your time away from Draper?
Love to golf with my friends, camp, and spend time with kids and grandkids. Love to go see the Indiana Hoosiers play in Bloomington too.

Tell us about your family.
As previously mentioned my wonderful wife Lisa works here at Draper. I have five kids including my stepchildren, a bunch of awesome grandkids, and two dogs that drive me crazy!
