Monday, February 15 our 2016 FlexShade Price List goes into effect. Included this year are several new products, services and accessory items.
For some years now, Draper has offered custom printed Graphic FlexShades. With the recent addition of some equipment, however, we now feature in-house digitally printed Graphic Shades with more competitive pricing.
This year’s price list also features a redesigned FlexShade ZIP with a new idler with a quick install pin and side channel pairings that ship predrilled for easy attachment. Side channels have been improved with a smooth back. FlexShade ZIP’s new, sleeker design now includes three attractive headbox styles (curved, square and angled), and new wall mount bracket and headbox installation methods allow for increased flexibility during installation.
Meanwhile, coming soon, most Draper motorized shade models will ship with M12 Connectors as standard. Due to its compact design, the M12 Connector fits through standard cable exit holes and is designed to provide a secure connection that is easy to install, maintain, and conceal. The sealed connection is moisture resistant, and is ideal for exterior applications.

With this price list we are announcing the all new Skylight 3 FlexShade®. Skylight 3 is ideal for applications where a narrow skylight shade is needed. In addition to its 35” minimum width, Skylight 3 can extend out to 20’ in length. This means that not only can it fit into a tighter space, but it can also extend out further than any other model of skyLight shade. It also features zero light gaps which help block out even more light when closed. Skylight 3 has a unique rail system with no exposed cable and can be operated with conventional or RTS motor options.
Draper now has lots of hem bar options to compliment various room styles. Our standard bottom hem for Motorized FlexShades, Clutch FlexShades, Clutch FlexShade XDs and Techmatics is a 1-5/8” heat seamed hem pocket with heat seamed ends. Optionally, Draper can provide a 1-5/8” heat seamed hem pocket with open pocket ends and plastic end caps at no charge. Draper also offers three styles of exposed hem bars for a small upcharge. Pricing appears in the 2016 price list.
You’ll also find three new Soltis fabric styles from Ferrari. Soltis 86 is a 14% openness factor fabric with both metallic and conventional colors which is appropriate for both interior and exterior use. Soltis 88 is an 8% openness factor traditional basket weave fabric for interior and exterior use. Soltis 92B is an exterior rated black out fabric. Colors are listed on the inside cover of the price list.
Have you ever finished up installation only to realize you have a scratched case, fascia, or other hardware? Now you can fix it up fast and accurately with a bottle of our new Touch Up Paint. It ships in a bottle with a handy touch up brush inside for fast no mess repairs. The paint comes in five colors (white, black, ivory, bronze and silver—similar to clear anodized) to match all Draper standard hardware color options.
