If you think InfoComm is big, wait until you see Integrated Systems Europe! Last year, more than 1,000 companies exhibited at ISE, and attendance topped 59,000. The show has grown so much, in fact, that this year it has been expanded from three days to four.
I’ll once again be among the Draper contingent heading for Amsterdam to attend ISE 2016 February 9-12. We’re in a slightly different area this year; our Stand 6-H132 is located in hall six, close to the Sony booth.
ISE is always exciting for us because it’s the one show where all the Draper brands—Draper, Draper Europe, and Draper Group Ltd.—join together in one booth. We have a fun time working together and meeting one another’s clients from around the world.
The last couple of ISE shows we have focused on TecVision—in 2014 we introduced our premium viewing surface line in private meetings and last year unveiled additional products to the line. This year we’re again talking TecVision, this time by focusing on our Optically Seamless technology.
Optically Seamless TecVision received several awards in 2015. It was also shortlisted in the AV Awards, and was a finalist for CEDIA New Product of the Year. We’ll be showing an Optically Seamless MS1000X Grey screen under projection, and see if anyone can accept our challenge of finding the seam from 1.52 meters away.
Visitors to our booth will also be introduced to our Projection Planner. This online planning tool allows the user to enter information about the room environment, screen use, and projector specifications, then returns recommendations for the best viewing surfaces for the conditions. When you use our Projection Planner in conjunction with TecVision, you really can match a screen to a specific room and need.
If you’re heading for Amsterdam for ISE, I hope you’ll take time to stop by Stand 6-H132 to see why people are so enthusiastic about Optically Seamless TecVision. And while you’re there, be sure to take your #avselfie with us!
