Here are three ways the Draper Pro Portal saves you time and money.
1) Get freight quotes and order status
With the online freight quotes app, you can view and select freight rates to ship part-numbered AV products that are packed as one item per crate. Simply type in the shipping destination and the products you want to have shipped.
You can also check the status of your order. Click on the “order status and tracking” link in the opening section of the Pro Portal welcome page. To track the status of a sales order or purchase order, enter the order number into the provided blank, click “Sales Order #” or “PO Order #”, and click on the “search” button. Information including tentative ship date, date shipped, carrier, and status will display, as will a tracking number if one is available.
2) Keep up with AV inventory
Sometimes the choice of a product depends on how fast you can get it, so we give you the ability to see what we have in inventory.
There are two ways to view Draper’s inventory levels online.
- Click on the “AV inventory levels” link. Type your part number into the search box, or scroll through the list if you don’t have the part number handy. The list is updated every day by 8:00 a.m.
- Download a spreadsheet of the list by pasting the following link into your browser (replacing the #### symbols with your Draper account number): .
3) Plan your projection
Draper’s web-based Projection Planner puts the knowledge of our in-house projection experts at your fingertips 24/7. The Planner helps AV professionals input data about their projection system and determine the perfect Draper viewing surface. Enter information such as the type of information being projected, ambient light levels, projector format, lumens, contrast ratio, projector throw distance, and screen size.
The Projection Planner immediately presents you with the perfect viewing surface for your needs, and the screen models available with that surface.
