Three months from today, North America’s largest pro AV event will kick off at the Las Vegas Convention Center. InfoComm 2018 will bring together 1,000 exhibitors and over 44,000 attendees in a celebration of all things AV.
And we thought we’d give a teaser of what’s we’re working on.
More Space
One thing we can say for certain is that we are planning for our biggest-ever presence at InfoComm. This year’s booth is 70 feet long and 30 feet wide, much bigger than last year. The booth’s design will continue to reflect our recent rebranding. Two of our Swedish subsidiaries, SMS and Evoko, will share one end of the booth.
A Busy Booth
Last year we introduced a lot of new ideas to the InfoComm audience and this year will be no different. While we don’t want to say too much in advance of the show, we can guarantee some surprises. We’ll also be showing a couple of things we brought to last year’s show. Our popular flat panel versus projection demo will return, as will an updated and ready-for-market Ropewalker—the screen designed to get rid of black drop between high ceilings and projected images.
A Widespread Presence
We are working with several partners to provide solutions for their booths as well. Last year, we provided two large screens, and a screen embedded in the booth floor for NEC. Scalable Display Technologies used a large Draper curved screen to showcase their blending capacity in a multi-megapixel display. We also built a custom bezel to frame a videowall for Absen booth in 2017. What will we do this year? You’ll have to wait to find out.
