Virtual reality and augmented reality offer many possibilities for integration with other AV in a variety of applications. Gaming, architecture, healthcare, and education are just a few of the markets where virtual reality has potential game-changing impacts.

But it can also be a sales and marketing tool, not just for AV consumers but also for integrators, distributors, and manufacturers.

One organization that has seen the potential in this use of virtual reality is rAVe Publications. During InfoComm 2018, rAVe offered a few exhibitors the opportunity to have a virtual reality tour of our booth, including links to videos and contact information. The virtual tour can be viewed using virtual reality glasses, or on a regular desktop or laptop screen.

This opportunity gives us the ability to continue reaching show attendees who never made it to our booth and allows us to widen our reach to those who didn’t attend.
