Since Draper® introduced the Foundation® Mount System for LED, we’ve often focused on the fact that it was designed specifically with installers in mind. Speed and precision are built-in by design, so regardless of the LED display size or brand, all assembly and installation steps can be easily managed by the installation technicians.
In this blog series entitled “Did You Know?” we are sharing specific examples of how our team did exactly that. In this fourth installment, we will look at our ability to attach the Foundation to our Icon Ace structure.
Although we typically think of videowalls as permanent structures that are attached to the building, there are instances when a more temporary or mobile solution is required. To address those situations, the Foundation LED wall mounting system can be directly attached to the Icon Ace stand. This unique configurable solution offers many advantages that AV designers and consultants might not consider.
Here are a few of them:
- Allows for temporary usage of an LED video wall which can be relocated to an actual wall at a later date.
- Can be used permanently in nearly any indoor location. Cladding can be added in this application.
- Icon Ace can be bolted to floor, free standing, or on wheels for easier mobility (up to 6×6 arrays).
- Can be used in a research and development environment.
Draper offers this solution in 4×4, 5×5 (pictured), 6×6 and 8×8 array sizes, or in nearly any configuration width up to 8 panels high.
