#InfoComm23 is in the books, and we were very excited by the interest and enthusiasm shown our audiovisual solutions by current and prospective dealers and fans of AV in general.
One of the big draws to our booth was faceted curved video wall. A faceted support structure uses flat LED panels to create a curved wall. Our example featured both convex and concave curves and generated a lot of positive comments. Just as impressive was the huge 21:9 Acumen V projection screen. Both the size of the screen and the performance of the TecVision XH900 ALR viewing surface wowed the audience!
We were also excited to be voted Favorite Shading Brand of 2023 in the rAVe Reader’s Choice Awards! This marks the third time that Draper has received this honor in voting by AV industry professionals!
To give you a real taste of the InfoComm experience, though, we thought it would be good to hear from someone with a fresh perspective. Molly Broome is working as an intern in our Marketing department this summer and made her first-ever visit to InfoComm. Molly is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and is working on her Master’s in Marketing Management.
“I had the privilege of attending InfoComm in Orlando, Florida as a Marketing Intern with Draper. This was my first ever trade show, and I was so excited to grow my knowledge in the AV industry. Walking into InfoComm, I had no idea what to expect. It is safe to say, I was blown away by the show floor, quantity of people, and quality of exhibitors.
Working the Draper booth was an incredible experience. I met many amazing Draper employees who do not work at the Spiceland headquarters and grew closer to several who do. In the booth, we showcased our projection screens, video projector lifts, and AVMS LED video framing systems.
One of my favorite aspects of the show was networking with the AV community. I attended the Rising Professionals Council Meetup and met with people who were excited and eager to learn about this industry. At the AV Marketers Meetup, I learned from other marketing professionals who gave great insights and advice on B2B marketing.
Another highlight for me was the Women’s Council Breakfast. It was amazing to see the women in this industry come together, share stories, and support one another. The guest speaker, Dr. Tarika Barrett, is the CEO of Girls Who Code. Her story and message were truly inspiring. Her organization’s mission is to close the gender gap in technology and show young girls that they can do anything. I am so thankful I was able to attend this event, and I highly recommend it to women who attend InfoComm.
InfoComm 2023 was an experience I will never forget. I am extremely grateful to the Draper employees at the show, and I hope to attend more trade shows in the future.“
Thank you, Molly, for sharing your experiences! A big thanks also goes to everyone who made InfoComm 2023 such a success! It was a great show, and we were thrilled to get to talk to everyone in person. Below are some videos and pictures from this year’s show.
