When the residential custom installation industry comes together next month at the CEDIA EXPO 2024 in Denver, Draper At Home won’t just be taking our message to the show floor. We’ll also be taking it to the streets – or, at least, across the street. If you’re going to the show, I hope you’ll stop by and see what I’m talking about in person.
For the second straight year, Draper At Home will demonstrate our wide range of outdoor roller shades and unique shading solutions in the “Destination Outdoors” area.
The motorized, wind tunnel tested FlexShade ZIP filters harsh glare in outdoor covered spaces to provide a comfortable environment for guests and family. The unique ZIP detail along the sides of the fabric keeps the shade panel firmly in place and resists wind, weather, and insects. An XL version is available up to 25 feet wide in a 5-inch cassette.
The FlexShade Tension ZIP uses similar technology but can be mounted at any angle. It’s a great solution for outdoor areas that are framed but not fully covered.

You’ll be playing the game on our newest fixed frame projection screen (sorry though, it is not part of the giveaway). The StyleLine offers the performance of multiple screen types in a single flexible screen model that comes packed with features and is easy to order.
The StyleLine is available up to 15 feet wide with two bezel trim options – 5/8″ or 3-3/16″ – and in an edgeless version. The aluminum frame features a back channel for attaching LED backlighting, and both bezels are covered with Veltex, a black, velvety textile that eliminates light reflections from projector over scan.
The StyleLine is light and installer-friendly thanks to a quick-connect subframe, hook and loop fabric attachment, and screw-on decorative frame. It also offers up to 1-3/8 inches of horizontal and vertical surface tension adjustability.
We’ll also be showing off a cassette version of our popular FlexStyle roller shades. The FlexStyle Cassette is available with curved or square profile. It can be wrapped in fabric to match the shade panel, finished in a textured Antique Bronze, or with matte colors in Black, White, Taupe, Warm White, and Grey. An optional bottom return allows you to use the FlexStyle Cassette with channels.
The FlexStyle Cassette was the result of requests from the custom installation community following the introduction of the FlexStyle open roll shade.
The low-profile cassette installs quickly and easily to mounting brackets, which attach to the wall or ceiling with only one screw per bracket.
