Today is Day 1 of CEDIA 2025, and we’re excited to get onto the show floor when it opens tomorrow and share the latest from Draper At Home!
The latest smart control system from Draper At Home combines the benefits of circadian rhythms, natural light, and window shades to significantly improve well-being. TourneSol is a heliotropic sun-tracking system designed to follow the sun’s path, gradually adjusting motorized window shades in unnoticeable increments to match the position of the sun throughout the day. TourneSol enhances comfort and well-being through a seamless blend of natural light control and silent, imperceptible operation.

Battery and low voltage power and control are among the top new requests for window shades. We’re meeting that demand head on with an expansion of battery and low voltage capabilities to several additional shade models. Dealers can now order battery powered and low voltage motors for the Gabled Bottom-Up FlexShade and Bottom-Up FlexShade. In addition, battery and low voltage top-down shades can now be coupled, so up to three shade bands can be powered by a single motor.

Motorized and battery powered window shades are a great solution for glare control and privacy. But for some windows, manual shades are a better fit. The shade might not be used much or privacy might be a concern. And with all-new Uplift roller shades, you can have easy and safe manual operation without cords or chains! Uplift shades are super simple to install, and a cinch to operate! The balanced spring mechanism allows effortless operation with a simple hand motion.
We’ll also be taking it outside again this year. As part of Destination Outdoors, Draper At Home is introducing 3 new products to increase the performance and convenience of outdoor shades.

The FlexShade ZIP 127 and ZIP XL with Solar Panel mean no digging or tearing up concrete to install outdoor shades, because there is no power or wiring required. The solar panel maintains a continuous stream of power for the quiet, rechargeable battery-powered motors which are compatible with smart home systems via Bond Bridge Pro, and with the newly available Bond Weather Station, which monitors current weather conditions to make sure the shades are in the right place at the right time.
To see our new solutions in action, visit us inside in booth 3720, AND outside in Destination Outdoors, right across the street from the entrance to the main CEDIA show.
