Solar control at any angle, in any direction, anywhere. That’s the promise of two tensioned shades from Guthrie Douglas being introduced into the North American market by Draper, Inc.

The Tess 140 can be installed at any angle thanks to a single barrel tensioning mechanism which keeps the fabric panel under constant tension. The Tess 140’s clean-cut style and nearly invisible wire guides blend seamlessly into the glazing surround for a nearly invisible solution for skylights, atria, and other openings up to 157 inches wide (depending on fabric).

The Tess 660’s unique Sidelock system keeps the fabric in place and eliminates light gaps. The single barrel drive mechanism keeps the fabric constantly under tension for smooth, ultra-quiet operation with no hem bar jams. Tess 660 provides blackout capability up to 118 inches wide, either inside or outside.
Unlimited RAL color powder coat finishes and a wide range of fabrics are available on the Tess 140 and 660, making them suitable for any project.
The Tess 140 and Tess 660 are the first products by Guthrie Douglas introduced into the United States by Draper since the Spiceland, Indiana, firm acquired the U.K. manufacturer in September.
