This week’s Why Draper post centers on Kathy Greenway (CSI, CDT). Kathy is the Contract Regional Sales Manager for the western and southwestern United States.

Kathy_1How did you come to be working at Draper?
Randy Reece (the AV Regional Sales Manager for the west and southwest) and I had met at a Construction Specifiers Institute (CSI) convention. He contacted me and described what the job would entail. Since it was what I was involved in and I was looking to make a change, we continued the discussions until a few months later, when the decision was made.

What do you like best about your job?
With any type of sales I enjoy the interaction with customers and the challenge of solving problems, and providing information. Least but not last the final sale and shipment is always the best.

What are some of your funniest moments at Draper?
Having (Draper Green Buildings Coordinator) Clint Childress fall into my arms setting up a trade show booth!

Kathy_2What do you like to do in your time away from Draper?
I have 14 four legged animals: mules, minis, horses – that takes up time for riding, caring, loading and unloading hay, cleaning, fixing fences, and doctoring. Irrigation on property, splitting wood for the wood stove. Showing and training my Aussie for agility. I am also involved with CSI. I enjoy their educational sessions on building.
