InfoComm 2015 is officially in the books, and it was definitely a memorable show. Later this week we’ll have a longer and more detailed wrap-up of the show, but before that there is a bit of unfinished business to take care of.

Year_of_Draper_108_DraperPro_WinnerAt InfoComm 2015, we promoted the Draper Pro Portal with the #DraperPro selfie contest, designed to take advantage of the #avselfie trend. You can click here for an earlier post with details about our contest and the #avselfie. Basically, though, we asked people to take a selfie in front of a Dual Roller Access Video Conferencing Background in our booth and share it on social media using the hashtag DraperPro.

We’ve taken all of the entries and put them into a hat, and Lifts Product Manager/Sales Support Manager Amy Madden has drawn out the winners. So without further ado, (drum roll please) … the five winners of $100 VISA gift cards are:

  • Victoria Ferrari (submitted via Twitter hashtag @victoria0429)
  • Hope Roth (submitted via Twitter handle @BeerAndPie)
  • Michael Holland (submitted via Instagram handle @miken2av)
  • Rhonda Neal and Dave Lewis (submitted via Twitter handle @SoundStageInc)
  • David Steinmetz (submitted via Twitter handle @dsteinmetz73)

Thanks to all of those who entered our contest. You can see the winners’ entries in the photo gallery.

As I mentioned above, the #DraperPro contest was designed to play off the #avselfie hashtag. The #avselfie, first introduced at InfoComm 2014, was as big as ever, as hundreds of attendees once again shared selfies from the show. In all, the #avselfie hashtag was used more than 2,600 times, making it the second-highest trending hashtag (behind #avtweeps) associated with the show! The folks at AVNation took all those selfies and put together a video, featuring music by Phil Cordell (@The_AV_Pro) of M3 Technology Group in Nashville, Tennessee.
