Eliza and her goat

Eliza and her goat

You might be asking what the two have in common. Let’s just say that I am blessed to work for a company that supports its employees and local community activities. My daughter shows goats. I’m sure this brings a smile to some of your faces…others of you can’t even begin to comprehend what that means. All that matters is my daughter and the 4H members love it (even when it’s 110 degrees in the barn)!

Three days before the annual fair began, one of our goat show sponsors backed out. I went to Draper asking if they would be willing to sponsor a “best in show” belt buckle that the older kids covet. Within minutes I had a “yes.” Now of course Draper’s name was in the show bulletin, but in reality how many people that buy our products saw it? Draper did not say yes because it benefitted them. They said yes because they see the benefit in supporting me as an employee, my family, and a local youth activity. I know the young lady that took that belt buckle home. She was so proud. And so was I…of her and of Draper.
