University of Kentucky - Men's Gym

As the craziness of the college basketball tournaments kick off this week, Draper is proud of our role in helping top programs from coast to coast get ready for tip off. Draper didn’t take any shots, we didn’t pull down a single rebound and we didn’t dole out assists, but our part has been just as vital to helping many teams make it to the post season. Draper didn’t suit up for a single game, but without Draper’s participation, many top seeds may be sitting at home this week. Draper’s role has been in helping programs prepare for and play games by providing top quality basketball backstops in arenas and practice facilities.

Draper can boast a role in the success of such big time programs as the NCAA overall number one seed, University of Kentucky, with backstop and wall pads in their Joe Craft practice center, and Number two seed, Duke, who plays their home games on EZ-fold backstops installed at Cameron Indoor stadium. Eleventh seeded Colorado also play their home games on EZ-Fold ceiling suspended backstops. Number 4 seed Indiana, number 6 seed UNLV and number 10 seed Purdue all have practice facilities that feature Draper basketball backstops as well as other products including wall pads and divider curtains.

The National Invitational Tournament also includes several programs that count Draper as a member of their team. Arizona, Oregon and University of Texas at Arlington have Draper backstops, wall pads and divider curtains in their practice facilities. The College Basketball Invitational features the University of Delaware, for which Draper provided equipment at their new practice facility.

In Women’s basketball, Draper is part of the programs at Duke, Purdue, Delaware, Florida Gulf Coast, Kentucky, Nebraska and Oklahoma who have been chosen to take part of in the NCAA tournament. The Women’s NIT includes UNLV, Villanova and Colorado who practice or play on EZ-Fold basketball backstops.

It may not be Draper backstops at the championship sites and it will not be our nets that are cut down, but with top programs practicing and playing games on our backstops, there is a good chance a member of the Draper team will be holding the scissors.
