Colby
Colby is a 10-year-old boy from Rural Retreat, VA who was diagnosed with a brain tumor. In 2009 his headaches and migraines led to the discovery. Luckily, the tumor has been confirmed as benign. He will start having radiation treatments when he is 14.
Colby loves sports, especially baseball and basketball. The Kid’s Wish Network approached Draper to make his wish for a basketball half court come true. Draper donated an outdoor goal and post, and the Kid’s Wish Network made it happen for Colby! As the photos show, Colby’s half-court is almost done. They are waiting for better weather to paint the stripes, but in the meantime Colby can shoot a few hoops.
