Later in February Draper GroupLtd will be exhibiting at Sound & Vision The Bristol Show. We asked Joseph Burke, the Operations Manager for Draper Group Ltd, to give us a preview of this show.

Bristol, England’s sixth-largest city, has traditionally been known for its role as a port, but modern-day Bristol is more about creative media, electronics, and aerospace. So it’s no surprise to find the UK’s biggest Hi-Fi show taking place there later this month.

It’s also no surprise to find Draper Group Ltd. will be on hand for Sound & Vision The Bristol Show.

Bristol_2Sound & Vision is the UK’s biggest hi-fi show, organized by Audio T—one of the oldest and most respected hi-fi retailers in the world—and What Hi-Fi, an independent guide to buying and owning hi-fi and home entertainment products.

This year, Draper is inviting attendees to feel what a home cinema viewing experience should really be like. We’re teaming up with Epson at Sound & Vision to do just that. We will be exhibiting our TecVision line of projection screen viewing surfaces. TecVision has won a dozen awards and made the 2015 AV Awards and CEDIA new product awards shortlists—the only projection screen to accomplish that feat.

TecVision surfaces are certified by the Imaging Science Foundation to provide a truly colour accurate image, and they are all 8K ready! Yes, you read that right—not just 4K ready, but 8K ready as well. We think people on hand for the show will enjoy the brilliant images that the TecVision MS1000X Grey surface and Epson’s EH-LS10000 Full HD laser projector will produce together!

TecVision_MS1000X_GreyWe will also be walking our visitors through Draper’s Projection Planner. This amazing tool has been designed to recommend the best projection viewing surfaces based on your input about such factors as light in the room, light on the screen, projector model and specs, and more. The application is designed to make recommendations for single screen and single projector systems. You can also contact Draper when you are considering more complicated systems.

If you are planning to be in Bristol for Sound & Vision, February 26-28, I hope you will come to room 316, third floor and have a look at TecVision! You will be impressed! If you can’t make it, follow our progress on the @DraperAV Twitter feed. You can also learn more about TecVision on our website: www.draperinc.co.uk/projectionscreens/tecvision.aspx.

Cheers! We’ll see you there!
