Here we grow again!
2017 has been Draper’s biggest and best year ever. Our recent significant growth means we need more great employees in 2018! Applications for the following positions can be filled out online or during the open house/job fair on Saturday, January 20 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Production
We will be accepting online applications for production positions beginning January 1. These are full-time openings in various factory departments, with benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance taking effect on the first day of employment. Matching 401(k) eligibility will begin the first of the month following 30 days of service. Starting wages will range from $17 to $18.42 per hour. Most of these new jobs are on the second shift, Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 3 a.m., and there is the potential for significant overtime hours. Interviews will begin in January 2018.
In addition, stable work experience history is expected, and fast-paced and/or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required. Production candidates must complete Work Keys testing through the Work One agency. You can contact Work One at (765) 529-3010 to schedule testing times. Work Keys scores should be submitted with your application or shortly thereafter, and only people meeting Draper’s Work Keys score requirements will be considered.
If you’re unfamiliar with Draper operations or would like to complete the online application on-site, plan to attend the open house/job fair where we will be offering brief tours of our production areas for interested candidates. Human resources and production management staff will be on hand to answer questions.
Clerical, Professional, Technical, and Sales
We’ll also be taking applications for office clerical, professional, technical, and sales positions. While there is no immediate need in these areas, we’re expecting 2018 to be a growth year that will likely create additional opportunities.

Would a paraprofessional certification count as a work keys test or would I still have to take the word keys test

I recently completed an application online and I’m very excited to hear about the job fair. I will plan to attend. I recently found out about the test and have made arrangements to take this test previous to the job fair. I look forward to the opportunity to meet with you all and be considered for employment.
I have currently been waiting to take the work keys test for two hours outside Work One. I applied a couple weeks ago. Should have it done later today. Very very eager to work for such an amazing company!
