The best way to spread the word about the quality and innovation of Draper® solutions is to show them operating “in the wild,” so to speak—to share examples of them in use in various applications. To make it easier for Draper dealers to demonstrate our solutions in action, we are unveiling a new collection of project profile videos on our YouTube page.
These short and impactful videos cross all product lines, and we’re adding new ones each week. Here is a sampling of the first few we’ve uploaded.
Detroit Auto Show
StageScreen® is one of the most innovative and versatile concepts in the projection screen rental market. All available StageScreen sizes utilize a combination of six standard color-coded frame sections. Interchangeable parts make it easy to reuse modular frame pieces to create different size viewing formats.
One of our favorite StageScreen installations was at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan. TVS Communication Solutions set up two 20′ x 100′ StageScreen projection screens featuring Matt White XT1000VB viewing surfaces.

the FlexShade® Recharge is a rechargeable, motorized window shade. It installs like a manual shade, with no wiring or electrician needed. In fact, an existing Clutch-Operated FlexShade can be upgraded to a battery powered FlexShade Recharge utilizing the existing hardware and shade fabric panel!
Check out this Lakeview Shade & Screen installation of FlexShade Recharge roller shades featuring Mermet E Screen™ 1% white fabric.
Route 66 Casino
Often an existing solution isn’t available for a project. That was the case with the Route 66 Casino in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Dealer Alpha Video and Audio was tasked with creating a circular halo structure using Planar® CarbonLight™ CLI Flex™ LED panels.
Planar recommended Draper to design a custom curved supporting structure for the LED halo.
“The key to the success for this type of solution is a robust design combined with precision manufacturing methods that enable precise location of the structure on site,” said Grant Wylie, director of AV product management for Draper.”

Center Grove High School
Today’s smart gymnasium needs a control system that can keep up. The most flexible and powerful gymnasium control system available, Smart Gym Control System’s electronic touch screen enables the control of all electrically operated gym equipment. The system saves money by decreasing the number of lengthy wire and conduit runs while allowing for shared circuits. Multiple devices can run simultaneously reducing set-up time for gym classes or games.
This Smart Gym installation by Hufcor at Indiana’s Center Grove high school included motorized backstops, an Overhead Volleyball System, gym dividers, and mat lifters, all controlled by Smart Gym.
