Two and a half years on from the beginning of the COVID pandemic and we are still hearing about its effects on shipping and supply chains. However, we’re here to assure you that our supply chain is operating at full capacity and our lead times and on-time delivery rates are back to pre-pandemic rates. This is true across our product lines, including window shades, projection screens, and AV lifts and structures.

Here are a few reasons why we’re able to meet your needs despite the turmoil of the past several months:

Integrated Manufacturing
In recent years Draper has committed to bringing more component manufacturing in-house. With our high-tech manufacturing equipment, we no longer have to depend on outside suppliers for many items, such as screen cases, shade hardware, or other metal components.

Lean Manufacturing
Using lean manufacturing practices, we have been able to make better use of our space, equipment, and people. This has allowed us to expand where necessary and shift resources to meet demand. We’ve also created efficiencies that allow us to save money and resources in the manufacturing process without impacting the quality or value of our products.

Expanded capacity
Despite our efforts, our growth has reached the point where we will once again be expanding our world class manufacturing facility in Spiceland, Indiana. Over the next few months, we will be adding over 100,000 square feet of manufacturing space, taking our capacity to more than 500,000 square feet.
