When it comes to fixed projection screens, one size — or one style — doesn’t fit every space. That’s why we created the Clarion Collection. This family of permanently tensioned screens addresses a wide range of visual, architectural, and budgetary requirements. The collection includes Versa Clarion, ShadowBox Clarion, and Edgeless Clarion, each engineered for a specific role but built on the same performance-driven foundation.

Versa Clarion: Practical Performance at an Economical Price

Versa Clarion is the newest addition to the Clarion Collection and is designed to deliver professional fixed‑frame performance while keeping installation speed and project budgets in mind. Built on a strong 1½‑inch square extruded aluminum frame, Versa Clarion provides the rigidity required for a permanently tensioned screen in spaces ranging from classrooms to hospitality venues.

One of the key advantages of Versa Clarion is its simplified snap‑on screen attachment system. This design shortens installation time and reduces labor, which can be especially beneficial on multi‑room or large‑scale deployments. The screen surface fully covers the frame and includes black borders that help prevent overscan and provide a clean visual edge. Versa Clarion supports standard and ultra‑short‑throw (UST) projection and is compatible with Draper’s full lineup of flexible viewing surfaces, including TecVision® formulations.

Versa Clarion is an excellent choice when reliability, performance, and cost control need to align.

ShadowBox Clarion: Precision and Visual Control

For applications that demand sharper edge definition and minimized light spill, ShadowBox Clarion delivers a step up in visual refinement. The screen surface attaches to the back of a 1½‑inch aluminum frame using hook‑and‑loop fasteners, creating an exceptionally flat, perfectly tensioned viewing surface.

What sets ShadowBox Clarion apart is its black powder‑coated frame combined with an optional Vel‑Tex® finish, which absorbs light from projector overscan and enhances perceived contrast. The visible black border provides a clearly defined image edge, making alignment easier and improving overall image presentation—especially in conference rooms, lecture halls, and training environments. Mitered corners conceal frame joints for a polished, professional appearance.

ShadowBox Clarion is ideal when image precision and lighting control are critical to the success of the installation.

Edgeless Clarion: Immersion Without Distraction

When the goal is visual immersion with minimal architectural interruption, Edgeless Clarion stands apart. As the name suggests, this screen eliminates visible frame and border entirely. The viewing surface wraps completely around the perimeter frame and attaches to the back, presenting a seamless, floating image with no visual distractions.

Edgeless Clarion creates an experience that closely resembles a direct‑view display, making it well‑suited for churches, retail spaces, entertainment venues, simulation environments, and modern interiors where aesthetics play a key role. The permanently tensioned surface ensures uniform flatness across the entire image area, and custom curved configurations are available for specialized applications.

This is the solution for environments where the screen should disappear, and the image should take center stage.

One Family, Many Possibilities

Together, Versa Clarion, ShadowBox Clarion, and Edgeless Clarion give specifiers and integrators the flexibility to select the right visual and architectural solution without sacrificing quality. Whether the priority is economy, contrast control, or immersive design, the Clarion Collection provides a refined fixed‑screen option built to perform—and built to last.
