The latest and greatest AV technology will be on display in just a few days at InfoComm 2019 in Orlando, Florida. Although we earlier shared a preview of Draper’s InfoComm booth, we’ve made some last-minute additions and updates that you’ll want to be sure and check out in person.
Another solution for Barco UniSee®
Saving installation time contributes directly to the bottom line. In addition to showing SmartTrim™ for Barco’s UniSee display system, we will be introducing a new accessory that will make installation easier than ever. The Draper® Mount Interface for Barco UniSee® is a simple but precise, elegant, and affordable solution. It eliminates inconsistencies in wall surfaces that are not truly flat, while universal attachment brackets simplify installation on nearly all wall construction types.
The Mount Interface can be installed by one person, saving time and money, and attachment of the panels is equally simple. The UniSee wall crosses mount directly to the structure.
Square alignment bracing ensures UniSee panels are properly aligned, safely distributing the weight of the video wall evenly across the wall surface and eliminating the need for Unistrut.
The Mount Interface for Barco UniSee accommodates any flat Barco UniSee wall configuration and is compatible with Draper’s SmartTrim™ for UniSee®. It will be available for shipping in September.
Portable Crystal LED Solution
When Sony needed a solution for safe transport and easy demo setup for its Crystal LED technology, a great deal of precision was required. Crystal LED requires XYZ alignment in the micrometer range. Draper’s portable case provides a structure that is extremely rigid and prevents flexing due to the weight of multiple installed cabinets. The case base structure is also adjustable with a solid machined starter bar called a DUB. The base and DUB are manufactured to extremely precise measurements, so the solution cannot flex more than .02mm under the load of even an 8K display.
rAVe Reader’s Choice Awards
There are always several awards and competitions leading up to InfoComm. Winning one of these awards can provide a momentum boost. This year we received some very big news going into the show. The readers of the well-known AV industry media outlet rAVe Publications have selected Draper as their favorite projection screen manufacturer! In all, rAVe received 88,000 votes in numerous categories.
The biggest strides in projection screen technology recently have been made in dealing with ambient light. Draper will highlight the power of ambient light rejection screens by comparing an ALR surface with a typical white screen surface.
